Senior Internal IT Audit Opportunity

My leading FMCG Client is on the search for ahighly motivated IT Audit Professional to join their growing Corporate Audit Services Team. This role is a Hybrid-Role based in Madrid.

Responsibilities of Senior Internal IT Auditor:

• Assist in the definition of data analytics procedure to support audit engagements.
• Assist in the development of the audit scope and objectives
• Define action plans in agreement with stakeholders.
• Execution of the annual IT audit plan with full accountability on the control testing assigned throughout the audit cycle.
• Participate in global audits, complete the fieldwork, document, and report audit results
• Support operational and business process Internal Audits on IT audit, SOX 404, cybersecurity, and compliance related matters.

Essential skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT Audit, IT Security, or Internal Audit gained in either a professional practice or corporate environment.
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology.
• Solid experience working with internal control environments within IT functions.
• Strong understanding of technology risks and controls relevant to a complex corporate IT environment.
• Good understanding of financial systems, technology environments and IT business processes, risk, and control activities within a consumer good business.
• Experience in auditing ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Ability to be flexible, persistent, results oriented and cross collaborate with others.
• Good organization, analytical, problem-solving and communications skills.
• Able to work within a complex, multinational organisation.
• IT Internal Audit Certification (CISA) or working towards it.
