UX Designer

Job Purpose

Assist in the delivering a wide range of online projects across AXA Ireland (RoI and NI) through usability, user experience, designing & developing interfaces and UAT Support.

Principal Accountabilities

Contributing to the delivery of optimal user experience by capturing, utilising and sharing customer insight

Delivering on business and user requirements through visual designs and prototypes

Establishing customer service expectation and industry best practice by conducting user research, usability testing and competitor analysis

Working closely with other departments, including IT, Business Ops, Underwriting and Compliance, ensuring projects satisfy all strategic goals

Adhering to all regulatory and legal guidelines, while maintaining best practice for user design principles

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Interpersonal Skills with the ability to influence at a senior level

Experience in Web based Usability Testing

Detailed knowledge of current web user design practices and trends in emerging technology

Project Management experience, preferably in a cross functional environment

Proficiency in graphics editing & prototyping tools eg Photoshop/Illustrator/AXURE/Balsamiq

Experience

3 years' experience in a similar role - Essential

Professional & Regulatory Qualifications

Essential - Third level qualification in Marketing or IT

Essential - Recognised qualification in Interaction Design/Usability/Online Marketing or in a related discipline

Desirable - Qualification in Agile Methodologies
