Oracle PL/SQL Developer

The position of Senior Oracle Software Developer will be working on Oracle Web based applications supplied to both local authorities in the UK and to central government clients.

This role will be working within one of the development teams where you will work as part of an Agile Scrum team on new development projects as well as helping maintain and enhance existing client software applications. Solutions are delivered as software or as hosted SAAS solutions.

This is a crucial development role that will allow you the ability to learn and enhance your technical skills and interpret client requirements along with building your business domain knowledge.

On a daily basis you will be developing technical solutions across technologies including:

• Oracle Databases
• PL/SQL Programming
• Oracle APEX
• Oracle XML DB
• SOAP and REST Web services
• CSS

You will take full responsibility for the functionality you develop, ensuring that it delivers on the business needs, engages users, and is maintainable and robust.

Writing both functional code and associated unit tests, you will also be reviewing work by others in the development team.
