I am currently assisting the world's leading digital experience platform (DXP) on their search for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Stockholm, Sweden on a permanent basis.

The role:

They're searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of their key product teams in Stockholm, where you'll help shape the future of their products and services. You should ideally have expertise developing APIs, extendable frameworks and/or services, and application implementations. You are self-motivated and like working with others to discover the best solution to an issue, considering architecture, development costs, and ownership costs. You're used to working in a fast-paced agile environment and collaborating closely with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, architect and implement simple, secure, scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective software solutions

Ensure product quality by developing and applying thorough automated testing techniques

Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud-based applications and services

Contribute to architecture and design discussions within your agile team as well as across teams and products

Contribute to project planning including requirements elicitation, design, task grooming and scoping

Mentor and share with other engineers and team members

Pursue growth by maintaining an awareness of the state of technology, engineering techniques, and best practices

Knowledge and Experience:

You have at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, or corresponding level of relevant education

You have 7+ years of experience working professionally with modern development practices.

You are strong in software design and engineering concepts, including but not limited to object-oriented analysis, design, and programming

You are approaching expert level knowledge of the .NET development platform

You are knowledgeable in the development and operational aspects of cloud-based software

You are a real team player who enjoys solving problems together, and a great communicator.

You have an understanding and interest for building and maintaining large applications as well as extensible libraries/frameworks/APIs.

Ideally you have significant experience designing and building large, modular, metadata-driven SaaS Cloud applications with continuous releases that quickly adapt to user needs.

Bonus experience:

Designing and building solutions based on CMS/DXP platforms

NET (Core) MVC

React with Redux, or other JavaScript frameworks

SQL as well as NoSQL databases

Containers and container/service orchestration

Developing on cloud services, in particular Microsoft Azure

HTTP APIs/REST services/GraphQL

Git
