Frontend Engineer- Stockholm, Sweden- Permanent opportunity

I am currently assisting the world's leading digital experience platform (DXP) on their search for a Frontend Engineer to join their team in Stockholm, Sweden on a permanent basis.

The role:

You'll play an important role in the architecture and design of new UI development for several of their products. You will explore new prospects and define the architecture and design with the help of the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, User Experience Designer, and architects. You will design totally new user experiences as well as enhance and integrate with current sophisticated apps with the help of other Front End and full stack engineers on your team and other teams.

You'll bring a lot of expertise designing and creating huge single-page JavaScript apps with current JavaScript technologies like React. Their applications must be modular, with configuration, integration, and extension, so that they may be utilised in a variety of circumstances by a diverse set of clients.

You are self-motivated and like working with others to discover the best solution to an issue, considering architecture, development costs, and ownership costs. You're used to working in a fast-paced agile environment and collaborating closely with UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Develop simple, high-quality, well-tested minimum viable solutions that fulfil defined requirements and adhere to applicable concepts and processes as a rational and pragmatic engineer.

Be enthusiastic in continuing to learn, explore, apply, and contribute to new technologies and software concepts.

Recognize the importance of current software engineering methodologies such as scrum, pair programming, TDD, and clean code standards.

Take responsibility for your contribution to the product, its quality, and long-term maintainability.

Participate in discussions with your team about everything from product and service ideas to architecture and design to implementation and support.

Consistently strive for self-improvement and advancement.

Experience required:

3+ years of experience working professionally with modern development practices.

Proficiency developing applications using modern JavaScript technologies, in particular using React and Redux.

Experience investigating and resolving problems, defects and bugs reported to the team.

Experience working in a development team following requirements provided by stakeholders and solution architecture and design provided by technical leaders.

Communication skills, verbally and in writing, to effectively communicate progress, issues, obstacles, solutions, and point of view.

Ability to work independently but avoid getting stuck by knowing when to ask for help.

Worked in a software product organization with defined processes, and value following as well as seeking improvements to those processes.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related experience required

They would love to see:

Knowledge of micro-Front End architecture

Understanding of web authentication tools and procedures

Experience constructing Server Side apps, ideally HTTP APIs Rest Services/GraphQL developed in C#

Cloud platform and service development experience, preferably on Azure

Having familiarity with design systems, such as the Material Design System or other design systems.

Content or Commerce Cloud experience and solution development
