Software Engineer

Software Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

• Participating in every phase of software development from feasibility studies through design, development, testing as well as bug fixing
• Taking part in defining work packages, their estimation, planning and implementation
• Executing the assigned work packages correctly in a timely manner
• Reviewing and analysing the source code along with reviewing application design, functionality, usability and its performance
• Providing work status and issue notification, assisting operations during the product transfer phase in software related issues

Your experience/knowledge:

• Experience with B&R Automation PLC environment paired with a strong understanding of low-level mechatronic systems, which also includes hardware and firmware
• Demonstrated expertise with structured text programming
• Bachelor or Master degree in software or electrical engineering or any other equivalent education
• Fluent English and German skills - verbally and written
