Who we are: We are a locally owned restaurant that is seeking a dedicated employee to Manager day to day operations. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, experienced, and ready to get their hands involved in our restaurants' operations. The Restaurant General Manager should also have knowledge and passion for local food and wine that will allow our customers a genuinely unique restaurant experience. About the Opportunity:The Restaurant General Manager coordinates with the Assistant Manager & Chef to maintain the standards for service expectations by scrutinizing every aspect of the guest's experience from start to finish, and personally intervenes to correct below standard service issues and positively coaches and counsels staff to achieve the highest quality of service in all areas of the restaurant. Job Requirements * Supervise the team of employees, guide, motivate, empower, evaluate, and discipline as needed, and manage the day-to-day operations. *Ensure food quality, recipe adherence, proper plate presentation, as well as maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary environment throughout the restaurant. *Conducts daily checks, correct any food or beverage problems before they reach the guest. *Be able to work a flexible schedule including open shifts, mid shifts, close shifts, weekends and holidays. *Perform all restaurant duties including but not limited to: order taking, handling cash, bartending, assisting with hiring, evaluating, performance improvement plans, and overall effectiveness of the restaurant responsibilities. *Successful & capable of managing this successful business. *Ordering & receiving from a variety of vendors. Qualifications/The Ideal Candidate *Minimum of 2 to 5 years as a supervisor/manager in a full service, fine dining restaurant. *Must possess strong leadership & communication skills. *Strong multi-tasking skills, detail oriented and ability to prioritize. *Dependable, reliable and motivated. *Able to work flexible shifts with extensive standing/walking. *Proficiency in Aloha POS, Excel, Word, email
