Maintenance of mammalian cell Culture Lines
Primer design and PCR amplification, Electrophoresis, Genotyping,
Next-generation sequencing sample preparation.
Preparation common reagents such as buffers
Maintain laboratory inventory and replenish consumable supplies
Write and update work protocols
Prioritize work processes, and coordinate activity with other lab personnel
Orient and train students and employees for commonly used techniques
Maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory
Maintain lab safety and chemical inventory and disposal
Minimum 1 years of training and experience in molecular and biochemical research.
Knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques: bacterial transformation, cell culture transfection, RT-PCR, gel electrophoresis, western blot, HPLC and spectrophotometer assays.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge in lab safety including use of biohazardous waste and principles of safety when working with human and mouse tissues.
Knowledge of the safety and handling of laboratory chemicals and equipment.
Ability to understand scientific protocols and to maintain an organized notebook is required.
Proficiency to perform independently, organize and prioritize jobs, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills in a friendly and professional manner.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to supervise students in laboratory practices.
NGS data analysis
Basic knowledge of R-statistical package
Independently design and run experiments
