Position Purpose
Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.

Will be on 24/7 call and have accountability of department as defined by unit director; Will provide written input to employee evaluations; provide first-line coaching of employees as needed/directed; Escalates any issues requiring formal disciplinary action to Asst Nurse Manager/ Nurse Manager/Director plus other related functions as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of nursing
  • BSN required
Experience & Skills:
  • 5 years previous experience working in a busy ED Department
  • previous management experience highly preferred
  • Critical Care or ED Course a Plus
Licensure/Certification:
  • Florida RN license
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS
We are looking for a strong team leader that is flexible, self-sufficient and ready to jump in with strong assessment, communication and organization skills.
