Responsible for the coordination and administration of immigration and mobility documentation and processes for the Americas region. The role will:

• Understand and assist with non-immigrant and immigrant visa cases, including the PERM recruitment process. Oversee each PERM recruitment case; request Job ID's from Business Planning, post cases in the Kenexa system, resume and candidate correspondence management. Ensure Talent Acquisition's recruiter or third party vendor screens and assesses candidates in an accurate and timely manner. Once PERM is certified, close case with BP and within Kenexa.
• Oversee I-9 re-verification program for the company; prepare and distribute monthly I-9 expiration report to office administrators and HR Connect. Perform I-9 re-verifications for all NY assigned employees. Perform audit of I-9 tracking system for accurate I-9 completion. Update HRIS system with company sponsored work permit information.
• Oversee and audit H-1b and E-3 Public Access files; ensure audit files are compliant to government standards.
• Act as an intermediary between Talent Acquisition and external immigration counsel, requesting immigration assessment/guidance for TA's candidate, as needed.
• Post and track hard copy Labor Condition notices.
• Produce, log and track green card clawback letters and promissory notes.
• Provide counsel with employee and employer information, as needed.
• Save all immigration petitions to GM shared drive.
• Act as a secondary signee, as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects such as annual H Cap lottery and budgeting projects, as needed.

Human Resources - Global Mobility

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in immigration and mobility.
• Strong attention to detail and process.
• Up to date familiarity with the Americas region immigration and mobility laws.
• Adapt to rapidly changing priorities and manage multiple projects.
• Able to cope with change, be flexible, handle uncertainty and at times minimal supervision.
• Previous exposure to supporting geographically diverse populations is a plus.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
