ASKO's Rock Hill Division, located in Rock Hill Industrial Park, South Carolina, has made significant capital investments to maintain its position as a world-class provider to our customers.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for shipping and invoicing all manufactured and regrind products. The Logistics Coordinator performs a variety of duties to support sales, materials, human resources and operations functions.
Review plant paperwork for conformity to customer order. Product quantity, weight, number of containers, etc. is to be confirmed.
Review sales order and customer purchase order for any shipping requirements.
Contact carrier or freight forwarder.
Prepare all shipping documents.
Management of import/export documentation and procedures (letters of credit, TIB's, etc.)
Process and settle all credit card payments.
I nvoices customer orders.
Process and post job transactions in SyteLine. Generate and distribute daily production reports.
Proctor evaluations for applicants and maintain records.
Cross train to serve as the back-up for the Operations Associate in all areas of responsibilities.
Perform general office tasks, including: typing, filing, answering incoming phone calls, and any other general tasks as assigned.
Assists Vice President - Rock Hill Division in the execution of assigned tasks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization and external customers.
Skill in expediting deliveries.
Knowledge of domestic and international shipping documentation.
Ability to work with detailed information collated from several different resources.
Capable of spending time on the plant or warehouse floor.
Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and ERP experience.
Mathem atics knowledge (basic fractions, decimals, metric, etc.), telephone skills and basic typing.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
High school diploma or GED equivalent, typing, basic computer, basic bookkeeping, customer service, telephone skills.
