What you'll do on a typical day: Work with suppliers to get packaging data submitted for review; review, approve, reject, and release supplier packaging in the online database in a timely manner Create container codes and enter container information in customer internal database; update system with correct packaging information (dimensions, density, container code, etc.) Review fleet size calculations and costs Set up test packs for review at the plant and/or testing facility; conduct weekly open issue reviews Facilitate purchasing reviews for packaging on costs/densities/dimensions for future model program planning Work with Logistics and Material Flow to optimize entire supply chain; update cost-saving database with potential cost-saving opportunities Develop business cases for potential packaging changes (expendable vs. returnable, totes vs. pallets, boxes vs. racks, freight studies, container investment deltas, etc.) What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent industry experience Ability to communicate in English General knowledge of Microsoft Office Availability to travel occasionally to the US for training or launch support It'd be great if you also have: Strong analytical and organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work loads Excellent interpersonal and management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Be part of something big. #LI-MH2 XPO provides cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the world's most successful companies, including Disney, Pepsi, L'Or al, Toyota and many others.
