If you’re as passionate about your future as we are, join our team. KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Account Relationship to join our Business Development organization. Responsibilities: * Utilize KPMG’s strategic account planning methodology and take responsibility to work with teams to execute the agreed upon sales plans * Proactively develop relationships with senior leadership in key agencies * Identify and qualify new opportunities, outline and build a business case as to why it is worthy of the Firm’s investment and effectively articulate to leadership * Originate white space opportunities, follow-up on leads and manage the overall relationship building process * Ability to take active ownership of pursuit plan, independently and strategically think through the sales process and make recommendations how to proceed * Coordinate relationship building activities with appropriate partners, engagement managers, subject-matter professionals, and other KPMG personnel on the engagement team(s) in an effort to help ensure they are well advised on important matters Qualifications: * Minimum of fifteen years of demonstrated State Government experience in a position requiring the management of large complex accounts * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business or a related field * Background in Advisory Services, State Government or Advisory with a Big 4 accounting firm * Established State of Florida relationships and understanding of procurement processes * Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence, and results * Experience developing, leading and maintaining relationships with Senior Government Executive KPMG LLP (the U.S. member firm of KPMG International) offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
