We are seeking a Service Manager to join our team!

Parallel is looking for an experienced Service Manager to oversee and grow our Low Voltage Cabling, Physical Security and Building Automation service offerings. This person will manage our Service Coordinator and work to develop relationships with our customers as well as maintain customer databases with current information. They will maintain clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to schedule and requested lead-times.

. Requirements:


  • Grow Managed Services and the Service department
  • Manage service tickets and billings to ensure service requests are being dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Manage service contracts and related SLAs.
  • Manage the financials of the Service department to include T/M, quoted and recurring revenue streams.
  • Maintain all Managed Services agreements, including billing, scheduling, and staging of materials, database information, customer hard files and renewals.
  • Direct marketing initiatives around Service
  • Quote service contracts for new and existing customers.
  • Manage the Service Coordinator (responsible for taking and dispatching service calls)
  • Manage Service Technicians
  • Report to upper management on a weekly basis
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • 4-yr Degree required, preferably in Business Administration
  • Five years related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Organized
  • Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
  • Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
