POSITION DUTIES: Registered Nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total nursing care of each assigned patient based on established clinical nursing practice standards. The nurse initiates teaching and educates the patient and family or significant other to attain optimal health. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation; responsible for directing and conducting all nursing care for patients. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes and supports the organization vision and mission. Contributes to the provision of quality patient centered nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
The person filling this position must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and be Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.
