Job Description

  • Contirbute to the overall strategic goals of the office of Global Learning.
  • Assist the Vice Provost by coordinating and updating the calendar, organizing and facilitating meetings with both on campus and off campus visitors, keeping and maintain the calendar, making travel arrangements, reserving meeting rooms, requesting special equipment as needed, typing reports, letters and correspondence, and gathering information.
  • Serving as the Global Learning offices main point of contact and liaison for internal and external constituents.
  • Manage and provide executive level office support for the Vice Provost and executive level staff.
  • Research and gather information to organize data and prepare complex reports, presentations, and summaries of various materials.
  • Compose and edit a variety of types of correspencedence.
  • Use database, work and spreadsheet programs to manipulate data.
  • Oversee, reveiw and reconcile accounts, payroll and expense reports, prepare HR-related documents, review annual leave for departmental employees and assist with inquiries regarding payroll.
  • Perform office duties such as processing incoming and outgoing mail, answering departmental phone and directing calls, answering office inquiries, overseeing and/or ordering supplies and office equipment, process requisitions, vouchers and related documents
  • Greet and provide assistance and information to departmental visitors, request equipment and/or building maintenance and keep up the overall appearance of the office and facilities.
  • Perform project management oversight for Global Learning and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a higher education environment.

Ability to keyboard proficiently is necessary.

Education or training beyond high school may be substituted for experience.
