Job Description
  • Coordinates support functions for academic pro g ram(s) or project(s) to ensure that goals and ob j ectives specified of the program are ac c omplished in accordance with e s tablished priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.
  • Performs a variety of assignments and analysis that impact the program and project administration function.
  • Understands key business d rivers and uses this understanding to accomplish/complete p ro grams/pro j ects.
  • Develops and implements programs/projects, providing guidance and oversight as necessary.
  • So l ves problems in straightforward situations.
  • Analyzes potential solutions using techni c al e x perie n ce, j u dgements and precedence, providing input and recommen d ations.
  • Impacts the quality of own w ork and the work of others on the team, ensuring effic i ency, pr o ductivity, c o mpliance, etc.
  • Explains complex in f o rmation to others in straightforward situations.
  • R e presents the program/project to administra t o rs, faculty, staff and other intern a l or external constituents.
Job Functions:

  • Recruitment of Distance Learning students - travel required
  • Corporate relations development related to increasing enrollments in distance education and professional development - travel required
  • Research, plan, and coordinate recruitment events and activities
  • Track and report recruiting metrics and ROI for recruiting processes and activities
  • Work closely on special projects with the Vice Provost for Global Learning and the leadership team
  • Work with Global Learning recruitment team to maintain efficient and seamless student application, admission, and enrollment process
  • Work with academic departments to identify recruitment goals and potential new programs, and identify professional societies, corporations, and publications for program specific recruitment initiatives
  • Coordinate marketing and communication plans with Strategic Communications Manager
  • Monthly direct report with Vice Provost for Global
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and three years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Corporate relations experience
  • Experience recruiting new students for online programs
  • Business development experience preferred
  • Program and/or project management experience preferred
