Postion Summary

The Digital Content Analyst will leverage data and visualization tools to help drive the NBA's digital content business. Specifically, this individual will analyze digital content data to optimize the NBA's digital content licensing business and international content business.

Major Responsibilities

  • Identify new licensing opportunities through identification and optimization of high-performing content
  • Develop and integrate strategy to streamline international digital and social media content analysis and reporting
  • Design and build effective and high-performing Tableau reporting solutions
  • Publish and maintain customized interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau Server
  • Develop reporting solutions and provide analysis on digital licensing content performance to optimize content offering and increase value
  • Provide competitive analysis of social content across platforms and use data to generate strategic ideas and recommendations for the NBA

Required Experience & Knowledge

  • Intimate knowledge of social media and digital platforms
  • Strong data background and exemplary analytical skills
  • Advanced background and experience working with Microsoft Excel
  • Exposure to digital and social licensing preferred, but not required
  • Experience using Tableau Desktop, including advanced calculations, visualizations, and knowledge of the practices and techniques of dashboard development
  • Intimate knowledge of social media and digital analytics, listening and measurement tools (i.e. - CrowdTangle, Facebook Insights, Spredfast Intelligence, etc.)
  • Ability to work within demanding timeframes in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail, design, and innovation
  • 2+ years of digital media experience

Educational Background Required

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Business analytics or data science background preferred
