Job Description

As a leader on the HR Operations team, you will play a critical role in the success of the NFL's newly transformed HR function. The Sr. Manager, HR Answers will be responsible for directing and supporting the ongoing activities of the HR Answers team and the related employee lifecycle processes. Your focus will be on developing the members of our team and fostering a community of high performance, teamwork, and passion. In this role you will manage the shared service function while continuously looking for opportunities to improve the NFL's HR processes.

Responsibilities :
  • Lead our distributed HR Shared Service team, HR Answers, managing the NFL's employee transactions and inquiries with a consistent and positive employee experience
  • Oversee processing of all transactions including new hires, rehires, transfers, leaves of absence, terminations, personal data changes, and other complicated system transactions
  • Ensure the confidentiality, accuracy, security and timely maintenance of HR data
  • Partner with the HRIS Director, Manager of Talent Acquisition Services, Centers of Excellence, and HR Business Partners to continuously improve our employee experience
  • Manage HR interactions with cross-functional teams as necessary, including Payroll, Finance, Compliance, Security, and IT
  • Grow and drive operational excellence, efficiency and performance in HR operational activities
  • Oversee management of I-9, new hire compliance, and Employee File maintenance
  • Ensure quality permeates everything the HR Answers team does including interactions with employees and managers, new hires, external partners, and internal stakeholders
  • Develop junior staff and ensure attention to detail, data quality and strong client service
  • Train and manage HR Answers team members
  • Serve as Oracle HCM systems expert, understanding our data and enterprise structures; experienced with creating ad hoc reports
  • Ensure organizational charts are accurately maintained
  • Manage special projects, from tactical to strategic, as needed
  • Performs related duties as required
  • Serve as first point of contact for employees and answer questions regarding HR transactions


Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven to ten years' Human Resources experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Applicable HR certification strongly preferred
  • Management or Supervisory experience in a dynamic environment required
  • Expert knowledge of the employee lifecycle
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud (Oracle Fusion). Taleo experience strongly preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline driven, and the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential information
  • Must have working knowledge of federal and applicable state employment laws (including California)
  • Willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to collect, summarize and draw conclusions from data
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and strong decision-making skills
