Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Research and resolve customer deductions and to reconcile credit and debit balances on a customer's account. Identify customer's behavioural patterns to prevent a loss of income for the adidas Group. Maintain communications with Customers, Customer Service, Logistics, EDI, Compliance, Sales, Finance, and other various departments in the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with wholesale customers and internal stakeholders regarding individual account portfolios on all aspects of claims. Route the claim documentation to the appropriate department within the organization for further research and information concerning deductions taken, as well as approval or denial for the deduction. Reconcile account balances as they pertain to deductions and credit/debit memos. Communicate with wholesale customers, Sales Representatives, Customer Service, Compliance, Logistics, EDI as well as other adidas Group departments as necessary. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with customers and all internal adidas Group departments by responding to correspondence in a timely manner. Issue credit/debit memos for deductions proven valid. Work with the customer for repayment of deductions if proven invalid. Negotiate partial claim payments or settlement agreements with customer. Constantly analyze customer behaviors to quickly identify problems or negative trends. Communicate with the Claims Manager immediately when items are identified. This position may be responsible for sensitive Inter-company accounts such as Promo or Salesman Samples. These accounts are highly visible and political in nature therefore require an individual who can uphold the needed level of confidentiality and is highly professional in nature. Extensive knowledge of credit and claims processes, account reconciliation, supply chain processes, and relationship management; strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of SAP, Document Management System (DMS), Access, Micro-Strategy, Dispute and Collections Management System (SAP) is a plus. Ability to prioritize and organize workload Proven experience in challenging existing process(es) in a professional manner and developing unique solutions Interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly adapt communication style and approach as appropriate Various other duties, at the discretion of management Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university preferred; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
