We are looking for a modern storyteller to help create the future of Nike Communications for Nike Sportswear and Women's categories.

The Brand Communications Manager (NSW & Women's) needs to have their finger on the pulse of culture- where sport and fashion intersect and be able to drive creative strategy and execution that cuts through and connects with consumers. The ideal candidate is one-part strategic planner, one-part creative director and one-part producer.

As a member of the world class Brand Marketing team, you will partner and work closely with the category brand teams, brand design, digital, and media teams. You will also serve as a critical connection point within the Global Brand Communications Network collaborating and connecting with the Geography and Territory teams while building strong day-to-day relationships with key agency, creative and production partners

A critical role of the Brand Communications Manager will also be to lead the integration of Nike Storytelling into the Nike Direct offense, this role will partner closely across Nike Direct, Nike Media, Member Services, and social teams to support specific campaigns, developing unique and compelling cross channel expressions of the ideas, delivering engaging (platform specific) content directly to our consumers and eliminating duplicative content end-to-end. This role will ensure the overarching creative vision remains intact from ideation to execution across all relevant and valuable marketing channels and translates to tangible/measurable results.

Responsibilities include:
  • Manage creative strategy, briefing, creative development and delivery of storytelling for Nike Sportswear and Women's products, athletes, experiences and brand moments.
  • Partner with cross functional teams brand design, digital, media as well as geographies and categories to maximize quality, impact and efficiency for all campaign efforts.
  • Manage timelines and deliveries throughout the entire creative process from strategy to delivery.
  • Work closely with the Nike Direct team to develop specific cross channel expressions for each campaign.
  • Build strong day-to-day relationships with key agency, creative and production partners.
  • Be a thought partner, leader and resource for the Nike Sportswear and Women's Category brand teams.
  • Drive and report results that deliver against key campaign KPIs.
  • Be a positive and engaged member of the global brand communications team.
  • Develop and share best practices for modern storytelling.


  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in brand marketing/advertising at a brand and/or agency.
  • Proven ability to lead across advertising and storytelling with a focus on youth culture, preferably within the footwear, apparel, sport, or fitness industry
  • Well-versed in new and innovative media channels, and be an expert in finding a sharp point of view, and interesting new ways to engage consumers in a big idea
  • Demonstrated ability to apply these skills in innovative ways that elevate brand excellence
  • Experience managing content production
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends and social media landscape
  • Knowledge of trends influencing content creation and delivery.
  • Must be able to write creative briefs that clearly articulate communication objectives and success criteria in order to inform and direct agency work and creative development
  • Connections to streetwear and sneaker culture are a must.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines (Advertising, design, media)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of entire campaign process from conceptualization through production.
  • Ability to travel 20%.
