The Athletic is seeking a highly motivated, multi-disciplinary Product Designer to join our small, but growing team. This role will report to the Head of Product and contribute to the mobile and web product teams. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities
This role will work closely with the product team to create compelling ideas and develop those ideas into clear design solutions across multiple platforms. You will work collaboratively with the product team to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets that contribute to new and ongoing features. Experience
4+ years experience designing for web and mobile applications. Experience supporting the design process by creating user studies, user flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, and other deliverables. Experience seeing work through with engineers and vendors with a high standard of quality. Skills
Ability to manage your time across several workstreams Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills Proficient in Sketch Skills in After Effects or any other motion design proficiency a plus Being a sports fan is a plus (there's not a better place to work).
