The Coordinator, High Performance is a regular full-time position reporting directly to the Director, High Performance (HP). This position shares oversight in essential programs related to HP to include but not limited to: tryouts, athlete depth charts, program planning and implementation, National Teams, budget management, and events execution. The position will include event oversight, data compilation and analysis, athlete evaluation and program staffing. Extended hours may be required to include nights, weekends and holidays. The position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to: Serve as lead staff of assigned High Performance Events, National Teams, and Programs. Create and maintain event registrations in HP online system(s). Responsible for assigned budgets including tracking, reporting and accountability. Responsible for program and event management to include scheduling, planning, on-site support, staffing, budget and execution. Provide technical and conceptual recommendations for system and process improvements. Provide detailed data analysis and reporting to the department for planning and budgeting including participation, program expenses, program income, gear and apparel. Select and secure Independent Contractors and other support roles for assigned. tryouts/assessments, events, and/or programs. Ensure service standards are met. Schedule, staff and direct assigned High Performance tryouts/assessments. Coordinate logistics throughout the year, including packing, shipping, organize, inventory, receive and ship equipment to and from HP programs. Primary point of communication for athlete, coach and family inquiries for assigned programs. Perform administrative task associated with the above and as assigned. Other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sport Management or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum three years demonstrated experience in event management. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook. Demonstrated reliability and ability to perform under pressure. Must be a self-starter with initiative and focus on details. National Governing Body (NGB) or USOC experience preferred but not required. Must be able to successfully pass a USAV background screening (prior to hire date). Must successfully complete SafeSport Certification within two weeks of hire date.
