Position Summary

The Studio Assistant Manager supports the business owner of the studio, cycle, and/or yoga programs. They will provide skills of leadership for overall team member development at their respective club. The Studio Assistant Manager will also oversee the recruiting, casting, and retaining of best in class performers, while also establishing a department that delivers best in class programming.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Mentors, develops, and coaches team members
  • Manages daily, monthly, and yearly department operations, including, but not limited to, setting staff and class schedules, managing the department's budget, and tracking the department's financial performance
  • Communicates plans and activities in a manner that supports strategies for team member involvement
  • Trains team members and assists with certification processes
  • Provides feedback and tools to help team members improve their skill sets
  • Identifies and reinforces common goals that build commitment and teamwork across functions and divisions
  • Teaches a maximum of 8 scheduled classes per week
Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience
  • National Group Fitness and/or Yoga Certification
  • Fitness and Nutrition Certification
