The Sr. HR Coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service and knowledgeable assistance to all internal and external customers in an effort to make a positive Human Resources experience in support of the Callaway Golf Employer of Choice Culture. This is a highly responsible position, requiring an advanced and broad-based knowledge of general HR concepts. Maintains high level of confidentiality. Helps to maintain employee files, generate/process forms, provides information to employees on various matters. Prepares and analyzes data and makes recommendations. Participates in the recruiting process. Performs work in a professional manner. Works on assignments that are complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Must be comfortable with accepted HR terms and possess an understanding of several different areas of HR support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupports the HR Team and Managers with a wide variety of tasks and projects, communicating with internal and external customers at all levels.
Facilitates onboarding process (including relocation) for new hires and internal transfers, as needed.
Assists with recruiting to include: resume screening, phone screens, interviewing, new hire paperwork and reference checking.
Manages and directs complex and long-term projects to completion, which may include influencing peers.
Coordinate appropriate project planning tasks, including resources allocation, task assignment, and progress monitoring.
Conducts new hire orientation and other presentations as needed.
Completes paperwork for employee master change data.
Utilizes data from reports, and makes recommendations. Strategize with Business Manager and departments.
Answers questions related to HR policies and procedures.
Assists with employee relations.
Conduct exit interviews.
Assists in knowledge and skills development of other administrative staff.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Previous experience with an HRIS system; previous experience working with Ulti-Pro preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong teaming/interpersonal skills
Ability to understand complexities of project management
Ability to monitor project effectiveness and make needed task adjustments to complete necessary work correctly and on time.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization and with outside candidates
Ability to conduct group presentations
Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
Ability to function in a continuously changing environment
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in fast-paced HR support role
HS diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's Degree or other college-level education preferred
Completion of HR certificate a plus, or equivalent knowledge
