Expectations: To assist with the operation and execution of all Chicago Fire youth programming, working cross-functionally across the department on a variety projects related to the Chicago Fire Juniors, Soccer In The Community and other events and programs. The role requires for the individual to be highly involved in the execution of a number of components for each project, including event/program preparation, marketing, staffing, communication and delivery, all executed to the standards expected of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. The successful candidate will need to be someone who can organize multiple areas of an event or program over the same period, and able to manage their time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure thorough execution. Responsibilities:
  • Project coordination of key youth programs, including residential and day camps
  • Help manage all aspects and execution of the above programs, including kit ordering, communication, housing, staff management, logistics and scheduling
  • On-site attendance at programs to help coordinate event to ensure high standards of execution and customer service
  • Working cross-functionally with the front office to ensure all elements are properly executed
  • Support additional Chicago Fire Soccer Club events and programming
  • To be a brand ambassador for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club Qualifications:
  • INTERNSHIP MUST BE FOR COLLEGE CREDIT
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work in a team/collaborative work environment is required along with strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and planning skills Desired Characteristics:

  • College class credit
  • $100 monthly stipend
