As our Nike Direct EKIN, you'll carry Nike's passion for Brand and product and enhance the Nike Retail team's product knowledge through consistent and timely education. You'll gather competitive market information and communicate it back to the team, serve as an ambassador of Nike's heritage and values within both the Nike organization and the community, and help lead, coach and train the team on Nike product, competitor, and community-related topics. You'll also serve as a role model of premium service, consumer engagement and effective Brand communication. You'll create and implement Nike product education plans through the effective use of curriculum and tools that include technical product details/functionality/benefits, competitor product details and launches, consumer marketing trends and key Nike product launch details. You'll create and conduct dynamic and interactive educational events and ensure the retention by participants. You'll assist with the education of the store team, as well as their ability to plan, organize and execute educational plans. You'll ensure the team remains up-to-date on knowledge of the current product, product availability, fabrics, colors and trends. You'll also provide the leadership and execution around the Branded Services area of the floor as it relates to authentic consumer connectivity. You'll research and remain current on all Nike products, including technical specifications, purpose and upcoming launches. You'll research and document the current market trends, competitor information and product feedback through participation at running events, market visits, Nike University, consumer clinics, and SKU, etc. You'll be responsible for providing insight to the Product andMarketing teams regarding trends, consumer needs and local community activities. You'll provide leadership on the sales floor by modeling premium consumer service, effective usage of product/marketplace knowledge and commitment to the Nike service culture through positive consumer interactions, demonstrating selling skills and expert-level product knowledge. You'll analyze the consumer's needs from the initial contact through the final touch point and advise the management on ways to deliver personalized service.You'll monitor and share the consumer feedback and reaction to product; and deliver regular updates to management regarding consumer experiences and other business-related matters. You'll ensure that the athlete team displays connectivity to the brand, the sport and team. In addition, you'll assist the HC's of the store in delivering a premium consumer and employee experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
- 3 years' retail experience, including 1 year training experience
- 1 year ofadditional relevant experience in lieu of adegree \
- Experience in delivering premium consumer experience
- Experience in coaching and counseling employees
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Previous retail leadership preferred
