Position Overview The role of the editor is to work alongside storytellers as part of a newly-developed division focused on long-form programming (A Raiders Life, From The Ground Up, etc.) to help balance the portfolio of video content offerings for the Raiders across its media platforms (e.g., broadcast, website, social and in-stadium videoboard). The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables. Essential Job Functions
  • Oversee all aspects of video editing that include: story editing, graphics, music and sound design, color correction and grading, and any other post-production needs to finalize video edits.
  • Work alongside producers and other video production positions to ensure all duties and goals are being executed properly and on-time.
  • Provide materials as needed to producers and/or clients.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate highly creative ideas.
  • Engage producers in the editing process, offer creative ideas and suggestions.
  • Operate a variety of production-oriented tasks, objectives, planning and scheduling.
  • Log and ingest footage as needed.
  • Execute time-sensitive decisions.
  • All other duties as assigned. Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Film/Communications/Art or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years professional experience (work samples required with resume).
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
  • Experience in editing historical or long-form documentaries.
  • Fluent in editing technologies and best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • General understanding of NFL rules, teams, players, and culture.
  • Availability and willingness to travel and work extended hours, including some nights and weekends. Compensation and Benefits
