Midtown Athletic Club - Chicago was originally constructed in 1970 as a 150,000 square foot indoor tennis facility. Recently, we went through an impressive transformation making Midtown the largest premium athletic club in the country. Showcasing everything in one location, the new 650,000 square foot sports resort includes spa/salon/barber services, a 55-room upscale hotel, a full-service restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, golf simulators, ice rink, basketball court, state-of-the-art fitness, 16 indoor tennis courts and the best racquet sports programs in North America. Position Summary
As an integral part of the leadership team, our Racquet Sports Director encourage active, social, and healthier lives by: Demonstrating sound leadership, professionalism, resilience, and optimism Increasing visibility of tennis offerings within the community Engaging more members in more programs and with more coaches Committing to Gain, Train, and Retain world class tennis talent Maintaining tennis areas to promote an exceptional facility experience Monitoring tennis coach development and career pathway Conducting annual talent reviews of tennis associates Developing and participating in tennis programs and events Overseeing annual tennis budget Our Racquet Sports Director have five or more years of teaching and programming experience with at least three years in a managerial capacity. In addition they: Maintain at least one nationally recognized tennis certification Possess an NTRP rating of 4.5 or higher and preferably have collegiate playing experience Are strong leaders with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely Possess exceptional administrative abilities Are highly organized, creative, and energetic Enjoy talking about and promoting the game of tennis Associate Benefits
