WeWork is currently seeking a New Member Development Director of Global Business Strategy, a leadership position on our global sales team. This full time position is based in New York and will report directly to the Global Head of New Member Development. This individual will be responsible for equipping the inside sales team with the proper resources they need to succeed. As a successful New Member Development Director of Global Business Strategy, your primary responsibilities will include (though will not be limited to), * Act as the key stakeholder of accountability for our functional and regional leaders to deliver high quality work and performance on time * Work with leadership to create a compelling story and plan around new opportunities in preparation for executive presentations, articulating the 30,000 foot vision while clearly defining any product, financial, and resource requirements for the department * Develop objectives and schedules for initiatives, ensuring project team and stakeholder alignment while managing and delivering on deadlines * Identify key interdependencies and crucial tasks, as well as anticipate potential challenges * Partner with Director of Expansion to analyze new markets and building openings to proactively plan key tasks such as hiring and outreach to ensure strong contributions to sales organization objectives * Create new, efficient processes for bringing ideas to launch * Develop organizational ROI analysis tying back to KPI's and business metrics to understand the value of each role, tool, and initiative * Provide ongoing status updates, project management, and cross-functional coordination, including preparation of meeting materials for team members and senior management * Collaborate with our Growth Operations team on forecasting budgets and headcount to remain operationally lean, efficient, and empower the department to make a strong impact globally * Be self-sufficient in pulling and analyzing data, effectively communicating key trends, insights and conclusions to leadership * Lead discussions on business metrics, asking teams key questions with a focus on moving the needle and improving results * Self-starter attitude and ability to build a strong rapport and trust with resources across multiple functional areas * Strong analytics background, preferably as an analyst with specific experience in content * Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Economics, Finance, or Business * 6-8 years finance, analytics, or project management experience, * Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manner * Strong presentation and communications skills * Knowledge of inside sales organizations * Experience in fast growth environment * Ability to think critically and strategically
