We are working to build a truly groundbreaking company, and we want top-notch people to join us in that mission.JOB OVERVIEW The Sr. Global FP&A Analyst will support corporate departments and global subsidiaries with financial planning, reporting, analysis, and insight. Expected to build strong working relationships with assigned business units to support global budgeting, forecasting, and month end reporting. Will assist in the preparation and monitoring of budget and forecast vs actual results. Requires corporate financial planning experience in combination with a systems and reporting acumen. Should be a data driven, detail oriented, and self-motivated to provide insightful analytics in support of global reporting and fact-based decision-making.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support global budgeting, forecast, and month end reporting.
Create and update key financial reports pulling from various data cubes and reporting systems.
Assist in preparation of Monthly Business Review PPT decks.
Execute ad-hoc analytics to support key products and business initiatives.
Identify and continually improve processes, tools, and reporting to enhance overall group effectiveness.
Assist financial systems analyst with systems administrator responsibilities.
Cross train with and backup other team members: department expense support, P&L analysis, and financial systems administration.
Partner with IT to resolve system issues in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Intermediate understanding of accounting principles.
Strong analytical, financial modeling and problem solving skills.
Advanced proficiency/guru level skills in MS Excel (including Macros, VBA, complex formulas).
ERP systems acumen. Ability to extract and consolidate pertinent data from multiple systems to support above duties; comfortable working with large data sets.
Must have ability to work independently, multi-task, be a self-starter and team player.
Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work well with all levels of the organization in fast paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate with others in cross-functional teams.
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and reporting skills. Ability to influence others.
Solid understanding of information flows within a consumer goods company environment.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and OneDrive for Business.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BS in Finance, Accounting or Business or related area, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; MBA preferable.
Minimum 4 years accounting or finance experience, with heavy emphasis in financial modeling, analysis and reporting.
Previous Finance experience in a mid-size or large international manufacturer/distributor or consumer products industry experience, preferred.
Experience with SAP-ECC, SAP-BW, SAP BPC (Business Planning and Simulation), SAP Business Explorer, and SAP BI (Business Intelligence) reporting programs preferred
