Human Resources Manager

This position will partner with local leadership and Corporate HR to optimize and implement HR policies, processes, technology and services that are aligned to support company strategic initiatives. Will provide guidance, counsel, instruction, and support to manager and staff on compensation, performance management, and development of human capital.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with site leaders and employees to drive business growth and organization effectiveness; to execute on change management initiatives; and to build organizational capability.
Establish site-specific employee engagement strategies, partnering with leaders to deliver effective communications and ensure alignment with the strategic growth plans for our business.
Partner with cross-geographical HR team to support and communicate initiatives that impact and enhance all teams across the site, in areas including performance management, training and development, organization design, workforce planning, rewards, and employee wellness.
Partner with leaders to identify and address people and organizational risk by monitoring overall employee satisfaction. Provide coaching and feedback to managers and employees to positively impact turnover and retention.
Partner with the recruiting team to manage staffing plans across the site. Support programs to help drive candidate search and placement, including participation on interview panels and in employee onboarding activities, as well as identifying talent market trends that support business strategy.
Work with managers and employees to ensure a balanced approach in addressing all types of employee relations issues. Recommend and implement strategies for maintaining a positive work environment that enhances employee performance and productivity.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, statutes and regulations.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years progressive experience of multiple HR disciplines including performance management, talent retention and engagement, training and development, talent acquisition, compensation practices and employee relations
Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and to drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative;
Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies;
Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality presentation and facilitation skills;
Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization;
Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of distributed business and HR teams;
Excellent knowledge of employment laws such as FMLS, ADA, and other federal and state laws covering discrimination and equal opportunity employment;
Resilient and able to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Experience and knowledge of global Supply Chain processes and challenges
Bachelor's degree required
