The primary role of the Senior Director, Strategies & Creative Partnerships, is the development and management of approved promotional elements that extend the impact and reach of FOX Sports marketing campaigns off department-controlled platforms through partnerships with outside brands and companies.
  • The position will report to and focus on priorities as determined by the SVP, Strategies & Creative Partnerships, FOX Sports Marketing.
  • While supporting strategies across the scope of the overall team, the position's priority role is the development and management of marketing partnerships with external brands and companies.
  • The position will also be lead on marketing partnerships with select divisions of 21st Century FOX including FOX Entertainment, FOX Films, FOX Home Entertainment, FOX Cable Networks and FOX Sports Ad Sales, as directed and approved. Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with SVP, develop partnership concepts in support of marketing goals
  • Proactively develop marketing partnerships with outside brands and companies in support of designated priorities and strategies ◦Including, but not limited to, partnerships with FOX Sports advertising clients
  • Liaison with FOX Entertainment, FOX Films, FOX Home Entertainment, FOX Cable Networks and FOX Sports sales & sales-marketing teams ◦Develop understanding of their business goals, processes and marketing priorities ◦Seek out and develop opportunities for marketing partnerships that support designated priorities
  • Manage creative & promotional needs for approved campaigns working with other team members and other FOX Sports marketing departments, as appropriate ◦Campaign tactics can include scripts, shoots, on-air spots, digital videos, digital banners, social media campaigns, publicity and stunts, grassroots marketing, events, barters and more ◦Serve as point-of-contact on promotional support for FOX Sports ad sales, as approved
  • Collaborate with FOX Sports Marketing brand directors to identify need for and create strategies for partnerships with outside brands and companies ◦Communicate strategies and needs to other marketing department staff as is required for project success ◦Manage fulfillment of campaign tactics serving as project lead with other marketing department staff, ensuring quality control and adherence to budget requirements and deadlines
  • Track results for owned projects
  • Manage the work of team coordinator on projects, as is appropriate and approved. Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in sports or entertainment partnership marketing with experience in TV marketing strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree - marketing, communications, journalism, advertising majors preferred
  • An idea person with an enterprising and positive spirit. A "rain maker."
  • Proven success in campaign design and impact - creative messaging and execution
  • Insightful consumer marketer with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and determined, championing projects from start to finish
  • A solid team player, willing to help on project tasks at any level as is required for success
  • Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills with excellent ability to juggle multiple and overlapping projects, pressure and ambiguity
  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MAC a plus
