As the Manager of Nike App, NRC/NTC Marketing, you will be a part of the Nike App, NRC/NTC digital brand channel team within the larger North America Digital Brand team. Your job will be to unlock & enable the Nike app and subsequently the team to bring category stories to life in app only way. This role will be responsible for driving our acquisition strategy, key retail initiatives, ongoing marketing levers such as Experts, influencers and onboarding experience. This role will also help lead audience personalization strategy, analyze and recap performance, lead seasonal planning paired with product updates. This role will be an integral part of the Nike app digital brand team working closely with category leads and global teams as well as product functional partners to integrate brand and business priorities into the Nike app marketing offense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive app membership acquisition through both paid and organic strategies, working closely with performance marketing, design & digital marketing teams to plan and align app brand, business and membership priorities to the Nike app download offense
  • Lead key retail initiatives in the Nike App such as Nike App at Retail, NikeLive & others; partner with key functions to bring these experiences to live for consumers in specific markets
  • Continually drive teams to optimize the onboarding journey against brand initiatives and consumer insights
  • Lead personalization capabilities & strategy through audience analysis and research partnering with GCK
  • Own the Nike app, NRC/NTC analytics & recapping process, review & execution
  • Manage the trigger offense across all touchpoints: onboarding, shopping, sport moments, brand moments, business initiatives, re-engagement, ect.
  • Help create and drive lapsed user strategies leveraging other digital marketing platforms, channels and in-app levers
  • Work cross functionally and subsequently back into the team to ensure app marketing levers are utilized and optimized - Experts, partnerships, influencers, ekins, ect
  • Lead seasonal planning for the nike app, NRC/NTC
  • Develop and execute the push notification framework aligning to app, brand and business goals
  • Be a positive influence, advocate, partner and collaborator across categories and functional partners of the Nike app
  • Transform how the Nike app team and our work "shows-up" in planning, meetings, engagement with partners, at meetings and in our work
  • Partner and align weekly with key partners: membership, business, digital product, global direct brand
  • Be a "yes" person across all functional teams across the app organization


  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Business, Technology, Marketing, Communications or Design
  • 5+ years or more of work experience in an app marketing and start-up, digital marketing role or brand marketing
  • Strong understanding of app marketing, consumer experience, app marketplace and media as well as a working understanding of app technology and standards
  • Ability to partner, influence and inform collaborative working relationships across the organization to drive our initiatives forward
  • Experience and expertise in understanding and leveraging app KPI's and analytics to revise and drive work forward more efficiently and effectively
  • Experience pairing brand with business priorities; as well as understanding of business KPI's
  • Strong organizational, planning, communicating and presenting/sharing skills is a must
  • Strong ability to continually align plans and tactics to teams strategies and objectives
  • Understanding of other digital channels: performance marketing, email, website, mobile marketing
