Our broadcasters are the backbone to the Twitch community. Your role will be an essential opportunity to scale our payouts for our broadcasters and esports programs. Twitch is scaling its operations and your contributions will make a direct impact to our success. We are seeking an experienced individual with both a vision and drive for operational excellence, standardizing processes and implementing best practices. This role will report to the Senior Accounting Manager - Global Payment Operations and will supervise staff. The ability to solve complex problems with a positive, "can-do" attitude is a must. Essential duties and responsibilities will evolve over time, and out the gate are: Responsibilities: Perform the daily activities of the payments team and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the broadcaster and esports program payment process. Support month-end close related to content payment accounts. This includes preparing journal entries, reconciliations and flux analysis related to content costs. Consult with the Technical Accounting Team related to new or atypical deals to record monthly entries related to content payments and expenses. Perform operating procedures, internal controls and workflows to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our content payout process in line with SOX controls. Collaborate with Tax, Partnerships and the Finance Business Integration team in providing user requirements, use cases for operational excellence projects impacting content payments. Process payments with withholding taxes, as applicable. Be a team player and be willing to take on ad-hoc requests. Requirements: 3+ years of accounting experience within the media and entertainment industry preferred. Exceptional analytical skills and strong Excel skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Detail-oriented with a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills. Bachelor's degree with a major or emphasis in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university required.A CPA license required. Big Four public accounting firm is a plus. Experience in system implementation and integrations, is a plus.
