Job Description Summary

The Montgomery College Tech Hire IT Training Program provides instruction for adult learners in need of English language and Information Technology skills development. As a part of the Tech Hire team, instructors will provide training to adult learners at a variety of assigned locations and work approximately three evenings per week.

***Montgomery College accepts applications for Adjunct/Part-time Faculty on a continuous basis. Applications may be reviewed periodically based on the student enrollment needs. ***

  • The listing of a course in the schedule of classes as "TBA" does not constitute an assignment.
  • The hiring decision for part-time faculty involves an academic judgment and shall be determined at Management's sole discretion.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide IT instruction to students in WDCE Tech Hire Department of Labor training program.
  • Track program attendance.
  • Input grades.
  • Collaborate with other staff members as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid IT certification.
  • Experience working in the IT field.
  • Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
  • Experience teaching IT.
  • Experience with Network +, A+, programming, coding.
