Ensure accuracy in accounting and timely delivery of reporting while facilitating change during a time of growth. Will help others understand finance and be the trusted business advisor by employing every facet of data and communication to ensure the executive leaders have the most up to date and reliable information to help them make the best possible decisions. Perform financial reconciliation of internal accounts.
Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies Prepare monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations Conduct variance analytics for monthly reporting including investigation of key variances Create and edit standardized monthly reports using SAP BPC Prepare and present monthly revenue releases and deferrals Assist in annual budgeting and forecasting processes Develop and implement tools to model, track, and analyze operation and cost expenses Acts as SME (Subject Matter Expert) on software revenue recognition Builds and maintains exceptional working relationships with executive team members and cross functional groups Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Knowledge of fundamental financial or accounting principles and practices.
Working knowledge of GAAP financial statements and their inter-relationship Knowledge of VSOE helpful Advanced Excel spreadsheet knowledge and skill
Experience in creating, coordinating and reporting budgeting and forecasting processes Experience with Great Plains, SAP BPC, Siebel and/or Hyperion helpful Exceptional detail and organization skills Excellent communication skills necessary
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting required.
Must be a self-starter and take personal responsibility for identifying and solving problem
