Lead, Global Time

The Lead, Global Time serves as Team Lead and coordinates/manages day-to-day operations for Global Time Specialists in all regions, as well as provides ticketing support to employees and Managers. The position also serves as an escalation point for HR and Payroll, as well as employees and Managers on time system questions and end-to-end process questions, serving as a subject matter expert globally. This includes partnering with other HR Services Teams or COEs to address any data, policy or other related questions/issues. In addition, the Lead Specialist works with other streams, including Finance, Costing, Project Systems, Customer Relationship Management and PLM to identify and resolve and upstream/downstream impacts from/to Time.
This position will also serve as the IT contact to coordinate and execute work done regarding SAP cutovers, goldens, system change validations, required data quality loads and CR approvals. The Lead, Global Time works closely with the Global Payroll Director for any special projects and implementations as required, and works with other Specialists to identify areas of process improvement. They will be responsible for documenting all process improvement suggestions with proper business justification and presenting to the Global Payroll Director for review, approval and prioritization.
For new implementation or modifications to existing Time and Attendance configuration, the Lead will be responsible to identify, test, and provide change management, training and execution of Global Time related implementations, improvement projects and policy changes. They will also be responsible to report, collect and communicate payroll data from HR systems in the form of standard reports relevant for payroll processing and respond to queries for supported region.
This position also actively researches available literature, documentation, and regulations for SAP system adherence to new regulations or pending rulings on existing regulations. This includes all data related to Global Time with impacts to SAP system changes, such as governmentally imposed work schedule changes, entitlement changes, overtime policy changes, public holiday changes, etc. With this information, the Lead Specialist actively partners with HR and Payroll to review, document and implement the policy changes in SAP. The Lead, Global Time may be involved in long- and short-term projects involving data and project management skills. Position requires strong Excel, PowerPoint, presentation, communication, and organization skills. The Lead must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment under pressure.
