Leading telco, heavy infrastructure and service provider operating in global B2B, government & consumer markets, globally, is seeking a Lead Product Designer to help drive, coordinate and deliver essential products used by internal engineering resources and international customer-base.

A hugely exciting opportunity to shape the face of essential support/service tools for our growing, global, client.

What you'll do:

• Influence and lead design thinking across the group, leading and creating human-centered experiences and product design processes throughout our Global ISP squads.
• Manage and prioritize projects design activities within the group.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product and services direction.
• Conceptualize and iterate original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design problems.
• Guide, support and balance team recommendations with research, analytics, usability testing, user insights and other quantitative/qualitative insights as appropriate to advance ideas.
• Act as user-advocate during the product development process, present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables
• Work interdependently from, and collaboratively with, team members on key initiatives to ensure that the creative execution maintains a strong, consistent look and feel.

Other activities: UX Research, Heuristic evaluations, Persona creation, defining design briefs, storyboarding, high & low fidelity prototyping, flow diagramming, information architecture, interaction design etc.

What you'll need:

• Circa 10+ years designing outstanding digital products (services is a bonus - see below pt.)
• Expertise/experience designing products utilised my internal/engineering/support teams (ideally telco/ISP/SDWAN/networking related toolsets)
• Strong portfolio outlining ideation process, design thinking, interaction, and visual design across a wide range of user experiences
• The ability to think and design in terms of systems not just interface elements.
• Expertise in leading/delivering high-fidelity mockups
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with diverse range of stakeholders

Nice to haves:

Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Product Design, Human-computer interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Science or related field - or commensurate work experience.

• Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript.
