OVERVIEW The Digital Optimization Intern is responsible for supporting the alignment of the digital experience with the customer experience and expectations, by assisting with researching and presenting initiatives around personalization, site functionality and maximizing for conversion rate across our portfolio of sites. RESPONSIBILITIES -Participates in regular team meetings and 1:1s, helps with knowledge sharing. Seeks to encourage and facilitate strong communication across teams. -Examines and seeks out quantitative and qualitative research to determine best practices to be utilized across sites. Writes and reports on findings, documenting and publishing where appropriate. Embodies an attitude of relentless curiosity and is both strategic, and forward looking. -Works directly with internal data teams to evaluate site performance. Asks relevant questions, digs deeper into business concerns and needs, finding the data necessary to inform decisions. -Works with optimization team to provide web strategies that reflect brand goals, align with customer needs, and optimize for conversion across multiple sites. Assists with supporting documentation and publishes findings ensuring insights are accessible to necessary teams. -Partners with cross functional testing team to propose tests, follows up and carries tests through the process as needed. Assists with the business needs around testing including any user testing for test setup. Shares learnings and proposes and submits test iterations. -Assists with the implementation of personalization strategies, seeks answers to key business questions and helps move personalization projects forward. Proposes changes and tweaks to personalization programs across sites. -Maintains current knowledge of digital marketing; researches and seeks out industry news to broaden our internal knowledge-base. Shares this knowledge and brings others along. -Stays up to date with knowledge of all brand standards and muses within Footlocker.com portfolio. QUALIFICATIONS To qualify for an internship with Footlocker/Eastbay, individuals must: -Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2019 graduate -Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary. -Schedule according to the following business hours: Summer internship hours are Monday-Friday (40 hours/week). Internships begin on June 3, 2019 and end August 23, 2019. *To be considered please apply by 11/16/18.
