Drive the Classics BU footwear, holistic concepts / asset looks and brand building seasonal plans from commercial in-put to sales handover / implementation of the plan in order to deliver successful business results and profitable growth across BD Sport Directional, BD Lifestyle Generalist and BD Lifestyle Specialist channels of distribution. Key Accountabilities
Assist in the creation of the US market's Classics footwear range framework (men's and women's) for Sport Directional, BD Lifestyle Generalist and BD Lifestyle Specialist channels of distribution including range sizing Own deliver of key holistic footwear / apparel seasonal looks including sell-in readiness of key asset looks Monitor market place conditions and recommend appropriate actions (i.e. pricing, segmentation, strategic buys, seasonal replenishment, franchise management, launch timings) Sales force interface Own strategic channel plans that offer clear paths to success within the Sport Directional, BD Lifestyle Generalist and BD Lifestyle Specialist channels of distribution / wholesale on-line marketplace and the business as a whole Work closely with sales director on franchise strategy and channel management for key wholesale partners Create regular insights for the Classics BU on current state of business in and across channels and future trends (tracking size of channel, implementation of Brand on-line marketplace priorities) Use data points (sell-thru, account feedback, etc.) to provide insights that shape the BU's approach to the channels Prioritize concepts / range across channels Ensure that sales reps have the right tools for their channel to be effective at sell-in (range plan, product calendar, over and above digital tool-box needs (off-cycle SMU's, late add's etc…) Role would have a direct tie into the DTC team (understanding all activities in DTC channel as well as the greater on-line marketplace) Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Passion for sports and fitness Experience working across a wide range of business partnerships managing multiple projects Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Broad Marketing experience, with a distinct track record of success and high-level Merchandising and retail space management knowledge Strong presentation/communications skills Advanced user of MS Office suite of products Experience in both market and above market organization preferred Qualifications
University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing Athletic industry experience preferred.
