ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: -Sell comprehensive corporate hospitality packages for the Great Lakes Loons and Dow Diamond to local, regional, and national businesses. This will be achieved through qualified leads, referrals and cold calls -Work directly with new businesses to identify needs in the areas of client hospitality and employee engagement
  • -Focused outside sales efforts by consistently performing out of office sales functions ona daily basis such as appointments with current and potential clients, writing and renewing contracts, etc.
  • -Provide sales leadership by effort and example for the Ticket Office staff -Be active in local community events geared towards meeting other business people including chambers and service groups in the Great Lakes Bay Region -Participate in weekly brainstorming meetings to develop ideas and strategies to continue to drive sales
  • -Provide outstanding service to all corporate clients. This includes special requests and assisting with all client needs
  • -In conjunction with AGM Ticket Sales, set specific individual goals, monitor progress regularly throughout the year, and conduct complete performance review at end of year
  • -Demonstrate sound organizational, coordinating and personal interface skills
  • -Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public,other employees and vendors
  • -Proven job reliability, diligence and dedication -Must be flexible with working nights, weekends and holidays -Other duties as deemed necessary or as directed PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/JOB QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
  • Proven track record of generating sales results
  • Strong math aptitude and ability to attend to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and Word Education and Formal Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Courses in ticket sales or any advanced sales training Experience:
  • A minimum 3 years experience in outside sales
