Job summary:

This position will lead and execute all aspects of Drive Shack's operation including, but not limited to, hospitality services, food and beverage, training, facilities, and golf operations. This individual will report directly to the General Manager and work in tandem to reinforce Drive Shack's operational and cultural standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with and support the General Manager; assume GM responsibilities in his/her absence
  • Coach and develop a large and diverse team through clear written and verbal communication
  • Manage all facets of the operation, including regular financial reporting
  • Establish and uphold Drive Shack's standards and expectations
  • Oversee Drive Shack's defined processes around inventory and reporting responsibilities
  • Oversee labor and spending for entire facility, within Drive Shack's guidelines
  • Plan and develop a profitable operation through proper cost and inventory control
  • Oversee, document, and report complete inventories of Drive Shack's assets on a regular basis
  • Implement controls and procedures to eliminate loss of product and labor efficiency
  • Track all spending and ensure it is accounted for and in accordance with Drive Shack's policies
  • Develop the team by establishing profitability goals and rewarding positive behavior

    Sales
  • Facilitate sales through proactively planning and executing marketing plans and incremental sales programs in collaboration with the corporate team
  • Manage the budget and business plan to meet or exceed planned financial performance, adjust as necessary to adapt to changing situations
  • Draft, communicate, track, and hold departments accountable for individual goals
  • Conduct departmental performance incentive programs to deliver on incremental sales

    Guest Services
  • Create an on-brand Drive Shack guest experience through superior operations
  • Exceed guest satisfaction goals through superior product quality and execution
  • Seek out guest feedback and use for management and hourly team development


  • Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure facility for all Drive Shack guests
  • Perform other duties as requested by management

    Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience managing a team in a high-volume entertainment or food and beverage environment
  • Able to understand and interpret product sales mix, efficiency reports, product pars, labor reports, yearly budgets, and other corporate reports to develop action plans based on quantifiable data; proficiency in MS Office software
  • Proficient technical skills that include being able to navigate all different types of hospitality industry Information Systems (POS such as InfoG)
  • Able to recruit, motivate, develop, retain, and promote top talent through thoughtful leadership and genuine concern for team member growth
  • Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment with constant distractions
  • Move about our facility and stand for long periods of time; our work is both indoors and outdoors year-round

  • Proven experience achieving budgeted financial results in areas of responsibility
