The Manager of Broadcast & Video Production reports to the Director of Broadcast and Video Production and serves as a key player on the experiential event production team. Manager is responsible for the management of the entire production process of video and digital signage content projects for internal and external use, from brief to execution. Primary Responsibilities: -The physical production of video content for multi-platform distribution. -Collaborate with other departments to determine needs and budget to produce content for web, social, broadcast, etc. -Manage production (physical footage capture) and post-production (edit, graphics, sound/music) for final deliverable (potentially multiple deliverables for different distribution platforms). -Circulate for approval from internal stakeholders and delivery to project sponsor. -Manage and coordinate vendor and third party production. Broadcast Operations -With the Director of Broadcast & Video Production-assist with the pre-production and planning of broadcast programs for NYRR events, including ideation, content and technical production. Management of footage library -Custodian of Digital Asset Management System. -Fielding and processing of requests for existing footage to internal and external partners. -Liaising with legal team to draft and execute footage licensing agreements. -Logging and tagging footage with metadata. -Cutting b-roll packages and selects reels -Support Brand Marketing and Business Development departments in producing video content (tune-in, registration, sales, sizzle reels). -Support creation of standard operating procedures as they relate to video and digital signage deployment (briefs, workflow tracking, change management, hardware, connectivity). -With Creative Services team, support company-wide needs for sourcing and managing vendors and service providers to optimize and improve efficiencies. Requirements: -Expert knowledge of HD/4k Cinema Camera Systems, lighting, audio. Sony FS7 and A7S experience a plus. -Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software including but not limited to: FinalCut, Adobe Creative Suite, PlaybackPro, media distribution platforms and Mac-based operating systems. -Strong technical knowledge of common video production techniques, version control and file management -Basic understanding of, and experience with, digital asset management systems -Experience with rights management and media licensing. -Working knowledge of content sharing platforms (Vimeo, YouTube, etc) including deliverable formats, resolution and codecs. -Experience developing runs of show, content maps, and cues for live shows -Basic understanding of html, xml, and web-based content distribution, user experience and interface -Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines -Comfortable communicating and working with a diverse array of internal and external clients, managing to expectations, and delivering top-notch customer service
