Cleveland State University Athletic Compliance Specialist Position Description: Assists the Associate Athletic Director in NCAA and conference related matters. Maintains a thorough understanding of and keeps current with NCAA policies and legislative interpretations as they pertain to maintaining NCAA Division 1 status. Implements and ensures staff adherence to all conference policies as they pertain to membership in good standing. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in an athletic compliance environment. Familiarity with NCAA and conference related policies, procedures and legislation. Must possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Preferred Qualifications: J.D. or advanced degree in Sports Administration. Experience working in an NCAA Division I Athletics Department.
