We presently have an opportunity for a Senior Producer with Skratch. Skratch is a social media content creator focused on making golf more fun and helping young golfers engage around the sport. Skratch is looking for an organized, self-starting and creative Producer to develop and execute videos targeted to our millennial-focused social media golf brand using original video, archival footage and graphics. The ideal candidate will have a creative mindset, and a background in and an understanding of short-form storytelling as well as experience in supervising the entire production and edit process. Candidates should be comfortable working in field and studio production to create original video content for multiple digital platforms, especially Facebook. Candidates should have an entrepreneurial spirit and be excited about the future of digital content and next generation video services. Qualified candidates will have the following: Bachelor's degree required. Journalism or Communications preferred. 5 - 7 years' experience in creating content for use on websites and social media platforms. Experience in editing and/or content management role with a digital publisher is preferred. Background in golf preferred; strong interest in golf required. Expert user and observer of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, including content creation, best practices, success metrics and other emerging platforms. Knowledge of general news and culture trends with a diverse media diet and strong editorial eye for developing a good story or narrative. Experience in managing the production of video from conception to completion while meeting deadlines and multi-tasking within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Develop, edit and program video content for use on Skratch platforms (Website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.). Ensure that video content is compelling and entertaining to current fans while engaging and drawing in new fans. Collaborate with the content team to develop, produce, and edit original short form video. Participate in all aspects of video production; both studio and field productions as well as edit process. Work with internal stakeholders to craft video format, graphic look, and style. Curate, program and maximize content from significant video asset library. Coordinate with outside creative and production staff. Adhere to brand standards and established voice across platforms. Use available data to make or adjust programming decisions across platforms. Execute content on behalf of marketing and/or sales initiatives Communicate daily with General Manager and Director of Content. Build and manage budgets, schedules and all related deliverables. Available to travel for content creation opportunities as needed.
