FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium have created a unique hands on experience for students looking to gain experience in the Sports, Marketing, and Entertainment industry. We are looking for bright, passionate, hard-working students to be a part of our team through our internship program. Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center is a first-of-its-kind facility located in Frisco, Texas. The complex features two major components: a 20,000 seat, state-of-the-art pro stadium immediately adjacent to a sports park with 17 championship-quality sports/soccer fields. Toyota Soccer Center is in use over 300 days per year, showcasing a wide variety of local, regional, national and international events. Toyota Stadium is the future home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. All internships for FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium & Soccer Center are unpaid internships, and must be used to receive college credit from an accredited university. The internships allow the individual to gain valuable experience with a professional organization for their future in the sports, entertainment and marketing industry. All candidate hours can be flexible to accommodate with your school or work schedule. Some nights, weekends, and holidays will be required. Position Overview: FC Dallas and Toyota Stadium are looking for a marketing intern to assist the Marketing department. The Marketing department serves as a hub for the organization, working to grow and develop the FC Dallas brand internally and externally. The Marketing department also works with all internal departments on projects that support Ticket Sales, Corporate Partnerships, FC Dallas Foundation, the Team Store, and more. The marketing intern will report to the Director of Marketing and will provide support on any of these projects or objectives. Job Duties to include but not limited to:
  • Assist with grassroots marketing efforts in growing the FC Dallas brand across DFW
  • Help with the development, planning, promotion and execution of special events (watch parties, festivals, FIFA tournaments, etc.)
  • Assist with managing and scheduling talent for game-days and outside events (Mascot, Drumline, FC Dallas Girls, DJ, etc.)
  • Help with implementation and execution of all game-day marketing operations including set-up and teardown, concourse activities, pre-game activations and post-game activities
  • Contribute creative thinking and support the Marketing department on projects The ideal candidate will have:
  • Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related major/degree required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dynamic and confident personality
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize within a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Applicable experience from internships, school athletic department, or school organizations preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a must
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include some nights, weekends and holidays based on event schedule
  • Must be an active college student
  • Must receive college credit for internship with our company
