The NBA is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Integration Strategist. The individual will be responsible for managing internal department relationships, specific marketing projects and platforms across multiple leagues, as well as developing processes and systems to ensure the marketing cross-functional teams are working efficiently.
This individual will work to align Marketing more closely with internal departments. The goal is to develop a deep understanding of the day-to-day cycles of these teams and become an active thought leader and contributor. The candidate must understand the high-level Marketing Department goals and success metrics and look for inroads to help achieve those goals.
This individual will develop marketing presentations, tools, processes and resources to be used internally and externally, with business partners and teams, and help share the overall marketing vision, objectives, campaigns, assets, and future global marketing plans. Major Responsibilities: Work closely with Lead Integration Strategist to develop, manage and support company's marketing activation calendar, managing timelines, ensuring proper planning for all key dates, events and activations for all leagues.
Cultivate relationships with initiative stakeholders, organize and lead regular meetings with internal departments to gain a deeper and broader understanding of current and future planning. Actively listen, offer solutions and share marketing plans, concepts, and look for connection points.
Develop presentations connecting Marketing projects and activities to overall company and department goals.
Identify cross-department synergies. Make recommendations for more efficient workflow and processes and drive business.
Ensure business communications and project outputs are aligned across marketing verticals.
Work across Marketing, gain department's alignment around initiatives objectives, goals, measurements.
Develop materials/presentations for the department.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Strong experience in the traditional, non-traditional and social media landscape

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
At least 8-10 + years of marketing integration related work experience
At least 4+ years of experience in the sports, entertainment, agency or branding industries
Digital, Social and Media experience a plus
Experience working with creative and media agencies a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Educational Background Required:
Bachelor's degree, required
Master's degree a plus
