SUMMARY

Do you enjoy the challenge of defining successful customer interactions and experiences on varied digital platforms? Are you an expert at applying user-centered design standards and processes to define a cohesive digital marketing visual identity, navigation, process flows, layout, iconography and overall l ook and feel of the experience? HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Conceptualize, design, present and execute modern, sophisticated design for emails (campaigns, designing templates and layout, including HTML), display ads, banners, landing pages, but also possibility for apps, subscriptions and microsites
  • Improve graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets, navigation buttons and search fields
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling digital experiences on Specialized.com
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites should function and look like
  • Bring design concepts to life through user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Communicate design intent to both internal and external stakeholders, clearly rationalizing and justifying design work and advocating for users' needs
  • Immerse yourself in the trends in user interface and interaction design and implement where appropriate
  • Be the in-house expert of UX/UI, mobile responsive design & latest front-end web technology
  • A core member of the Ecommerce team, working closely with Creative and Web Development Teams to deliver new web experiences, improve path-to-purchase and increase site usability


WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN
  • Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design framework, concept visualization, problem-framing, and design principles
  • Solid knowledge of UI and UX principles; demonstrated UI and UX design skills with a strong portfolio (provide at least three URLs)
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch and Invision
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about user-centered design and user experience, with knowledge of mobile-first design approach
  • Love of data driven design and desire to work collaboratively with analytics and research
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, able to prioritize while balancing multiple projects
  • An ability to adapt graciously to changing business conditions and priorities


Preferred Qualifications:
  • BFA in graphic design, human computer interaction, interaction design or related field
  • Brown belt in various mock up and prototyping tools - including Visio, Apple Keynote, Axure, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Sketch and Invision
  • Knowledge and abilities in Adobe Suite, Sketch, and related design tools.
  • Familiarity with front end coding in HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery and their capabilities and limitations
  • A portfolio that demonstrates web design achievements and proposed UX solutions
