The Wellness Manager will ensure first-class service by tracking and providing strategic outreach to players of concern. Duties will include assessing player needs, directing players to resources, and providing appropriate referrals. Primary Responsibilities: -Assess and identify needs of players identified as high touch -Develop a plan of action for identified players, providing referrals to appropriate resources as needed -Implement and maintain an effective tracking system for all player communication -Stay abreast of internal and external resources available to players including: player benefits, The Trust, PAF, counseling resources, transition programs and services -Provide ongoing support to players identified as high risk to assess progress -Regularly evaluate effectiveness of internal and external resources -Maintain accurate accounting and documentation of player progress and utilization of internal and external resources -Collect and analyze data to identify behavioral and career trends among high risk players -Prepare and present quarterly reports related to expressed player concerns and factors that impact player wellbeing -Assist Director of Wellness in planning and implementation of transitional programs -Provide follow up engagement with all IR players who become Free Agents to aid in a seamless transition to post-NFL career -Maintain confidentiality of information and records -Other duties as assigned by Director of Wellness Qualifications: -MA in a health-related field with three years' experience in human services or behavioral health setting or BS in psychology or related field and a minimum of five years' relevant experience -Demonstrated ability to interview, effectively interact, identify and assess player needs -Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel -Demonstrated ability to plan/organize work effectively -Demonstrated experience with data input and analysis -Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in ways that build trust and confidence -Demonstrated ability to assess and develop improvements for programs -Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, in a flexible team environment -Ability to work within and assist others in navigating through complex systems -Demonstrated expertise in providing excellent customer service -Excellent communication skills, including but not limited to interpersonal, telephone, and written communication that may be difficult/sensitive
